"Every Day is Valentine's Day" MV, posted 6 Mar 08

I recorded the TVB MV for "Every Day is Valentine's Day" two days ago, at a restaurant in Central. The director invited four men and four ladies to take part in the filming, so it was really lively.

Will be singing this song for two shows next week, and one of them is TVB Jade Solid Gold on Wednesday night...hope that I will be in good condition to sing by then!

I just don't understand why it takes so long to recover from the flu...sigh!

I will also be having a radio interview tomorrow afternoon for both live and recorded interviews, so everyone can tune in and listen.

I'm back! posted 28 Feb 08

After the HK Concert, a whole group of us went to Japan for a holiday, it was very fun at first, but after the 3rd day, all the problems that accumulated in the past weeks started to come, like flu, cough, sore throat, and even fever! So I had to stay in the hotel room to rest, it was too bad!

Immediately went to see a doctor after i returned to HK, to "clear" the illness...I have to sing "Every Day is Valentine's Day" on Saturday, and shoot the MV next week, and then prepare for the concerts in US...!

I really need to recover "completely" soon!

HK Concert: The last night, posted 19 Feb 08

"understand that we have to part in the end..." * is this is a lyric from one of Hacken's songs?*

11 nights of my HK concert are finally over!

Last night's atmosphere during the concert was really fantastic, there were a lot of my loved ones in the audience: my family, friends, and fans. it was really an unforgettable night for me, and the concert rundown proceeded really smoothly. Also, Shirley (Kwan) and Alan (Tam) were guest performers for the night, so it was the best night so far!

Thank you everyone for all your gifts (red packets, flowers, fruits, baby diapers, all sorts of baby products, snacks, and even toy models and "fa gao" etc.) and of course everyone's enthusiastic support for my concert: including all the fans from Malaysia, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Singapore, Taiwan etc., and of course the HK fans! I will remember all your support and care!

Tonight is when my "short holiday" begins, I'll see everyone again in March!

Thank you everyone! :)

e I was very happy last night because i could perform onstage together with Paul again...the two songs "dai dei" and "zhan dik ngoi nei" were both very good and i enjoyed it very much, thanks Paul!

However, there were some technical problems with the ear monitors last night...i could not hear a few songs clearly. Hope that there will not be such problems during tonight's concert, because it makes it very hard to focus and it will affect my singing!

Also, I have counted the red packets that i collected during the concert on 16 Feb, and there is $11500 altogether. Together with my own donations, a total amount of $23000 will be donated to the charity show (that is raising funds for the people in China that are affected by the bad winter weather).

HK Concert: 8th and 9th nights, posted 17 Feb

There were no guest performers for these two nights of the concert, and the concert rundown is back to normal!

I wore yellow trousers for the encore item, but they were not as "sharp" as the bright pink trousers...so i changed back to wearing the bright pink ones on the next night. Actually, Henry made the trousers for me in five different colours, but maybe i'm too used to it, the bright pink ones still look the nicest...maybe i will wear the other colours at home! haha!

From the 9th night onwards, i wore the ear monitors in both ears, and the effect was quite good. During the encore item, there was a male fan who gave me the song sheet for "paper wedding" and requested that song. But the encore was very "high" and that song was not suitable as it was not too popular. Also, Mr. Chiu (Chiu Tsang Hei) was not able to play that song immediately as it was not planned...so in the end i could not sing "paper wedding".

I prepared to sing "ming wan foo hou" and "by my side (zoi ngo san been)" that night, but no one requested for those songs...and i have not sung "gai jeet" yet, maybe i'll sing it tonight! But i will still ask for the audience's opinion during encore, because i should sing what the majority wants to hear!

Tonight and tomorrow night will be the recording for the concert dvd, so everyone, please shout more loudly! :)
